Dennis Eric Lehto

Dennis Eric Lehto, 57, died Jan. 2, 2010, at North Florida Regional Medical Center, Gainesville. He was born in West Palm Beach and lived in Sebastian for 24 years, coming from Lake Worth. He was the owner/operator of Precision Painting in Sebastian. He was a musician, playing upright bass with such bands as Gator Blues, the Dali Lamas and Drapes of Wrath. Survivors include his son, Eric Lehto of Sebastian; daughter, Katie Lehto of Jacksonville; mother, Lillian Christian of Sebastian; sisters, Rena Dickinson of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Donna Brink of Newberry; and one grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father, John Lehto. SERVICES: A celebration of life service will be at 6 p.m. Jan. 6 at Strunk Funeral Home, Sebastian, with the Rev. Dexter Goude officiating.
