When I think of Aunt Betty, I think of words like :gracious, upbeat, positive, sensitive, loyal, caring, fun loving, vivacious, energy, travel, adventure, genuine, sincere, giving and loving. Aunt Betty made these words come to life and she will live on in the memories and in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to have known her...She will be greatly missed by us all....

To me Betty was an inspiration, a world traveler and the most elegant grandmother I ever knew. Our entire family will miss her dearly as she was the backbone of it. Betty and I had some great conversations and is what I will miss the most. I asked her one-day why she and Grandad Jack were always so darn busy and her response was…”well Brooks I’m afraid if I sit down for too long, that is, I’ll never get back up” It was an honor and delight to be in her presence. I love and miss you!

Betty was a very special lady to me and my family. She was so important to my Dad and he loved her very much. She took such good care of him and brought him so much happiness! I will always remember our special times together, especially at my sons' weddings. We were delighted to have her in our presence! I am just so saddened at her passing, but to take a page out of Betty's book I plan to stand tall and "Get About It!" as I am certain she would want.
I love you, Betty and miss you terribly. Jill Parker

My husband and I are good friends of Alex & Jennifer Calder. After hearing so many wonderful things about Betty, we finally had the pleasure of meeting her - we are delighted that we had that opportunity.

What profoundly sad news... "Aunt Betty" was so full of life, it's hard to imagine her without it. We will miss her, especially her quick wit and great sense of humor. She was a very "cool" aunt! Our love to her family and best wishes during this difficult time.
