Ski you were the greatest Marine I ever served under. You and Delores were like parent´s to my wife and I. When Donna and I were married in 1960 you and Delores invited us to dinner. After dinner you two told us to set on the couch. You and Delores told us to pay attention. Then the two of you told us what made a good marriage. I give you both the credit for our 50+ years of marriage. God Bless both of you.

Looking back on my childhood, Grandpa Drygalski was a man who helped form the person I have become. Whether it was the old movies we would watch when he visited, the little life lessons he could teach in one short phrase, or the cards I would get later as I grew, he made me feel apart of the family. Even though he has left for a better place, I know his spirit and valor will remain with all of those who were lucky to have known him.

A soldier, father, grandfather, and great man has departed this earthly plain leaving behind all his pain and suffering to once again be with grandma and granny. I take solice in the fact that when we lose a loved one on earth we gain an angel in heaven and grandpa I know that you are soaring with the Eagles. Grandpa I wish we had more time together but time is ever fleeting but your memory will never fade. I miss you Grandpa.

Valerie,
We are so sorry for your loss. Your Dad was special man. He visited with your family in Sugar Land. My children got to know him a lot from their vacations. I am grateful for that time.
