Fred LeBlanc Obituary

Fred Joseph LeBlanc, 89, died April 14, 2011, at William Childs Hospice, Palm Bay. He was born in South Minto, New Brunswick, and lived in Barefoot Bay for 23 years, coming from Greenville, N.H. He served in the Carleton & York Regiment of the Canadian Army during World War II. Before retirement, he was a professional musician. He was a member of the Orioles and the American Legion. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Louise LeBlanc of Barefoot Bay; sons, David and Roy, both of Amherst, Nova Scotia; brother, Ron LeBlanc of Nashua, N.H.; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Milly, Terry and Dolly; and brothers, Leonard and George. Memorial contributions may be made to the William Childs Hospice House, 381 Medplex Parkway, Palm Bay, FL 32905. Services: A memorial service will be at a later date. Arrangements are by Fountainhead Funeral Home in Palm Bay.
