Gayle Mamer Obituary

Gayle L. Mamer, 63, died Jan. 10, 2011, at Port St. Lucie Medical Center. She was born in Sioux City, Iowa, and lived in Port St. Lucie since 1999, coming from Palm Beach Gardens. She was an elementary school teacher at Parkway Elementary School, Port St. Lucie, for 12 years and earlier a teacher in Palm Beach County for five years. Survivors include her husband of 37 years, James L. Mamer of Port St. Lucie; daughters, Jeana Christine Mamer of Los Angeles, Jaimee Gayle Mamer Rosenthal of Cleveland and Justine Lacey Mamer of Port St. Lucie; sisters, Barbara Ricenbaw of Denver and Saundra Larson of Sioux City. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jean and Evonne Larson; and sister, Suzanne Christine Larson. Services: Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Jan. 16 at the Aycock Funeral Home Chapel in Port St. Lucie. Services will be private. A guestbook is available at aycockportstlucie.com.
