George Bolton Obituary

GEORGE DANIEL BOLTON, JR. George Daniel Bolton, Jr, 69, of Indian River Shores, Florida passed away Saturday, December 23, 2006 at Indian River Medical Center. George was born September 6, 1937 in Avondale, Pennsylvania to George Bolton Sr and Mary (Moore) Bolton. He resided in Indian Rivers Shores for the past three years and had previously lived in Wellington, Florida where his wife, Linda, served as Councilwoman. He attended Boston College and Rutgers University. George was the co-owner and business principal for Bolton Associates in Vero Beach. He had also been the Regional Sales Director for Standard Register. He holds the distinction in company history of being the only sales manager to be named Board Chairman two consecutive years. George served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Wellington Rotary Club. Survivors include his wife, Linda Bolton of Indian River Shores; his sister Eileen Ziegenfus of Houston, Texas; son and daughter-in-law Scott and Michelle Bolton of Chicago, Illinois; daughter Noreen Stewart and her son Matthew of South Elgin, Illinois; stepson and daughterin-law Jason and Shelley Janetzke and their son Alex of Lakeville, Minnesota; stepdaughter and son-in-law Lenore and Tom Kay, Jr and their son Tommy of Houston, Texas; and his nephews John (Jack) Warren of Houston, Texas and Dan Warren of Deltona, Florida. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 27, 2006 from 2-3 pm at the CoxGifford-Seawinds Funeral Home, 1950 20th Street, Vero Beach FL, 772562-2365. A prayer service will begin at 3 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 1040 Woodcock Road, Suite 119, Orlando, Florida 32803-3510.
