George Hoge Obituary

Col. George F. Hoge, 85, died Oct. 25, 2010, at his home. He was born in Alexandria, Va., and lived in Port St. Lucie for four years, coming from Melbourne. Before retirement, he served 30 years in the Army during the Korean and Vietnam wars. Survivors include his sons, Geof Hoge of Port St. Lucie and Duncan Hoge of Centerburg, Ohio; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Gloria Hoge. services: A memorial service will be at a later date. Inurnment will be at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia. Arrangements are by Forest Hills-Byrd, Young and Prill Funeral Home in Port St. Lucie. A guestbook may be signed at foresthillsfunerals.com.
