Guy Nicholls Obituary

Guy W. Nicholls, 84, died Feb. 5, 2009, in Port St. Lucie. He was born in New York City and lived in Florida for more than 30 years, coming from New York. He worked for the Federal Reserve and was a banker with the U.S. Trust Co., developer of Pine Estates and president of the Pine Estates Homeowners Association. Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Faith M. Nicholls of Port St. Lucie; son, Guy W. Nicholls Jr. of New York City; daughters, Suzanne N. Thorndike of New York City and Greenwich, Conn., and Elizabeth N. Brower of Blount Springs, Ala.; stepson, Brian W. Pratt of Winter Springs; stepdaughter, Kristin E. Pacheco of Downingtown, Pa.; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Suzanne S. Nicholls; twin sister, Margaret Mary Nicholls; and grandson. Memorial contributions may be made to the Port St. Lucie Bible Church Building Fund, 1120 S.W. Paar Drive, Port St. Lucie, FL 34953. SERVICES: A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Feb. 14 at the Port St. Lucie Bible Church. Arrangements are by Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service.
