Dr. Schulman delivered our two daughters. He was thoughtful and considerate and allowed me to be present in the delivery room. To this day we quote his funny line, said holding our new born daughter up for us to see, "This family only makes button holes." He also operated on my wife and in the process, saved her life, for which we are eternally grateful. Dr. Schulman did indeed save my life during a hysterectomy, but was too modest to take credit. He was the most wonderful doctor -- he was caring, gentle and magically gifted. He was way ahead of his time, always employing the most up-to-date methods of his profession. I am so saddened that he is no longer in this world, but am blessed to have had him in my life.

I was very sad to hear the news of the passing of one of my professors from Albert Einstein and Wintrhop University Hospital. Harold Schulman was a true role model for me and many other physicians. He was truly a north star for all those students who wanted to be the best. A scholarly man with a deep compassion for his patients and all others who knew him. He became a friend to me and my wife Cheryl, also a physician, and he delivered two of my three children. He attended my oldest sons BarMitzvah seventeen years ago and I honored him at the event. My wife and I will miss him greatly. My deepest sympathy to the entire schulman family.

Harold Schulman was a respectable, kind and caring man. He was deeply in love with his Rosie and his children. He spoke of you all with such loving pride at the NGH Convention which he attended with Rosie August 11th thru the 14th. I did not know him as well as most, but got to know the man thru the woman he loved and who loved him so deeply. They were a strong and powerful couple and death will not diminish that love. It may change over time but will always continue to exist within the universe. John and myself as well as our family share in our offer of sympathy and prayers for you Rosie and Gina and all his family. Love Marian Kilkenny

Many will remember you and thank you for being a gifted teacher. You championed the rights of women long before it was widely accepted as an important position to hold. You skillfully used science to support your compassionate care for your patients. As one of your many students, I thank you for teaching me and encouraging that in my own practice.

Many will remember you and thank you for being a gifted teacher, who championed the rights of women, long before it was a widely accepted position to hold. Your compassionate use of science aided your efforts as a caring physician. These principles guided me, as one of your many students, in my own practice, and for that I am grateful to you.
