James Rager Obituary

James Kent Rager, 70, died March 6, 2011, at Palm City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Muncy, Pa., and lived in the area for 32 years, coming from Williamsport, Pa. He was a Navy veteran, serving at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. He attended Penn College in Williamsport and the National Institute of Interior of Design in Washington, D.C. He specialized in residential decoration and interior design. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Jensen Beach and volunteered regularly as a worship reader and assistant. He served as president of the residence council at Palm City Nursing and Rehabiolitation Center. Survivors include his son, Brendan T. Rager of Jacksonville; and brother, Gary Rager of St. Louis. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Nolan Rager. Memorial contributions may be made to Southeast Honor Flight Inc., P.O. Box 1503, Stuart, FL 34995; www.honorflightsefl.org. Services: No local services are planned. Interment will be at the Muncy Cemetary, Muncy, Pa., at a later date. Arrangements are by All County Funeral Home & Crematory Treasure Coast Chapel.
