Jeffrey Lynn Velde

Jeffrey Lynn Velde, 70, died Sept. 25, 2012, at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach. He was born in Peoria, Ill., and lived in Vero Beach for 36 years, coming from Pekin, Ill. He was owner/operator of Velde Ford for 36 years. He was a member of Bent Pine Golf Club and a Golden Chief booster for the Florida State University Seminoles. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Patty Velde of Vero Beach; daughters, Carri Grass of St. Augustine and Tricia Velde of Vero Beach; brother, Gary Velde of Vero Beach; sisters, Kimberly Monroy of Boca Raton and Jennifer Velde of Orlando; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Stacy Lynn Velde; father, Lynn Velde; and mother, Sylvia Velde. Memorial contributions may be made to Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
