Jerry Flagg Obituary

Jerry Bradley Flagg, 80, died Jan. 27, 2011, at Royal Palm Convalescent Center, Vero Beach. He was born in Easton, Pa., and lived in Vero Beach for seven years, coming from New City, N.Y. He was an officer serving in the Navy. He was a graduate of the Merchant Marine Academy in Great Neck, N.Y. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Barbara W. Flagg of Vero Beach; son, Jeffrey S. Flagg of Congers, N.Y; daughter, Robyn F. McKinstry of New City; brother, James S. Flagg of Easton, Pa.; sisters, Susan Godsby of Allentown, Pa., and Barbara Flagg of Easton; stepmother, Dorothy Barber Flagg of Easton; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Jay Bradley Flagg. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 237 E. Marks St., Orlando, FL 32803. Services: Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Jan. 30 at their home. Arrangements are by Strunk Funeral Home and Crematory of Vero Beach. A guestbook is available at strunkfuneralhome.com.
