Joe was a great guy, well liked by all. On behalf of all the retired Grumman officers we offer our condolences to the family. Joe although retired for a number of years never forgot his old friends You could always count on Joe to attend the breakfast and luncheon every March for the senior guys from Grumman Dan Knowles

Don, I am sorry to hear about your Dad. He was good to the people who worked for him, and I will never forget him flying down to Stuart to personally hand me my inspection stamp. He will be missed by all, and he is one of my fond Grumman memories.

So sorry to hear of your dad's passing. Even though I had never met him, I am sure that of all the accomplishments he made in life, the one that made him most proud, is the wonderful family that he and your mom created. God Bless You All.

Although I did not have the pleasure of meeting this gentleman, I recall many conversations praising his contributions to the aircraft industry, and especially the Grumman Corporation.
