King Snyder Obituary

ELMIRA, N.Y. King Snyder King R. Snyder, M.D., 83, died Feb. 27, 2008. He was a resident of Elmira, N.Y., and a part-time resident of Vero Beach. He graduated in 1942 from Southside High School, Elmira. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the Navy as a corpsman. He received his undergraduate degree from Bucknell University and medical degree from Temple University Medical School. He practiced in obstetrics and gynecology. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Donna Snyder; daughters, Sherry Murrin, Judith Snyder, Catherine Snyder, Barbara Snyder, Tina Davis and Beth Spaziani ; ; ;brother, Warren Snyder; sisters, Marilyn Carlson and Laurel LaLonde; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Aaron Karavish. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arnot Ogden Medical Center Foundation. SERVICES: Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. March 1 at Olthof Funeral Home, 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira. Services will be at 10 a.m. March 3 at First Baptist Church, 121 W. Church St., Elmira.
