Leah Jett

Leah Jett, 55, died Oct. 10, 2009, in Fort Pierce. She was born in Winter Haven, and moved to Fort Pierce when she was a child. She was an OB/GYN registered nurse and worked as a nurse in the Fort Pierce area. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was active in the 4-H Club in her early life and volunteered with Treasure Coast Hospice. Survivors include her father, Ken Simmons of Telford, Tenn.; brother, Brian Simmons of Fort Pierce; sisters, Nancy Robbins of Richmond, Va., and Janet Boudet of Tallahassee. She was preceded in death by her mother, Frances I. Robbins.
