Lois Smith Obituary


LOIS SMITH Lois Smith, 77, of Vero Beach, Florida, died Monday, April 18, 2011 at VNA Hospice House. She was born May 29, 1933 in Mount Vernon, Ohio, the first child of John and Margaret Agnew and had been a resident of Florida since 1973. Lois became the wife of Dr. George Thomas Smith on December 17, 1955 and was his partner in Ministry for more than 55 years. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church of Vero Beach. She is survived by her husband, George Thomas Smith of Vero Beach; children, Sheri Lois Cook of Crystal Lake, IL and Sheldon Thomas Smith of Englewood, FL; siblings, Peggy Springer and Charles Agnew and her grandchildre n include Jonathan and Alissa Cook and Sean Smith. She was predeceased by her brother, Larry Agnew. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Grace Baptist Church, Vero Beach.
