Dr. Maghraj Thanvi, 76, of Jensen Beach, passed away on Monday afternoon, August 6, 2018 in Stuart, Florida.
Dr. Thanvi was born October 1, 1941, in Jodhpur, India. He graduated from medical school in Jaipur, India, and in 1967, he moved to England to further his medical career. In 1975, Dr. Thanvi then moved to Dayton,OH, to complete his residency, after which, he moved to Stuart, FL to begin his new practice. Dr. Thanvi has been serving his patients for over 40 years.
He was a member and Past President of the Martin County Medical Society, a member and President of the Treasure Coast Indo-American Physician Society and a member of the local chapter of the American College of Physicians. He also loved to travel.
He is survived by his wife and companion of over 50 years, Ruth Thanvi of Jensen Beach as well as several nieces and nephews in India and England.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at 1:00PM with a Funeral Service to begin at 1:30PM at Aycock Funeral Home in Stuart, FL.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997 or visit www.treasurehealth.org.

All arrangements are entrusted to Aycock Funeral Home in Stuart, Florida.

Death is just the end of our very short Earthly life and the beginning of a new Eternal life. God called Dr. Thanvi, SAFELY HOME, to Heaven, for being such a good person, free from pain and suffering for ever.

Dear Ruth,
It is always too soon to lose those we love. I know your heart is broken, for you had a beautiful life with a wonderful man for so many years. would that it could have continued, but sadly, it is not in the PLAN.
Maghraj was a much loved and respected physician in this community. He will be sorely missed by all.
We send you our love and condolences at this very sad and difficult time.
