Margaret Jean Witzel, 81, died Nov. 1, 2009. She was born in Washington, D.C., and moved to Vero Beach 10 years ago, coming from Lanham, Md. Before retirement, she was an administrative assistant in the U.S. House in Washington D.C. Survivors include her husband, Tom Witzel; son, William Hoover of Cantonment; daughter, Linda Letellier of Cantonment; sister, Maryann Plaskett of Alexandria, Va.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice of IRC, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960. services: There will be no services. Arrangements are by Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home and Crematory in Vero Beach. A guest book may be signed at lowtherfuneralhome.com.
