Marjorie Baumgartner, 66, passed away on August 16, 2017 at Hospice of Stuart, FL. She was born in Nyack, NY and lived in Stuart, FL for 60 years. She graduated from Martin County High School, Class of 1969.
She was the owner of Margie's Hair Salon in Stuart. Afterwards, she was a child advocate at Children's Home Society. She most currently worked as a Realtor with Keyes Realty, along with helping many elderly patients in home and at assisted living facilities.
She had a love for horses, crafts, and traveling. She was a fun and loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many.
She was predeceased by Father, Byron Retto, Mother, Irene Retto, Brother, Ronnie Retto. She is survived by her daughter Cherie Baumgartner of Stuart, son Derik Baumgartner of Palm City, Grandchildren Jensen and Kendel Foust, Sister Suzanne Jordan, Nephew Danny Jordan and Niece Caroline Brown.
Friends and family are welcome at services on Friday, August 18th, 2017. They will be held at Saint Mary's Episcopal Church 623 SE Ocean Blvd. Stuart, FL 34994 at 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Treasure coast Hospice Health Youth and Family Grief Support. 1201 SE Indian St. Stuart Fl 34957.

Marjorie was our neighbor many years ago when she had her first child. She had such a fun and kind spirit. Her beautiful red hair fit her personality so well.. I was a teenager when she lived on River Point Dr. She and her husband where fun to be around, they always had something fun to say or would join in game we may of been playing in the street, if only for a few minutes, she always had a beautiful smile and loved her children. I was only at teen when I got to know her, but I feel I was a better person for knowing her. God Bless her family and may their pain also include the fun and happy person Marjorie was.
