Miriam Elizabeth (Flynn) Owens, of Hingham, MA; formerly of Weston, MA; Osterville, MA; Palm City, FL on November 14 at the age of 87. Born in Boston and raised in Brookline, MA; Miriam was a graduate of Sacred Heart in Newton, MA and Manhattenvillle College. Beloved wife of the late Robert J. Owens. Loving mother of Michael Owens of Dorchester, MA; Linda Pallotta and husband Jerry of Boston, Nancy Bryan and husband Alex of Shelburne VT, Janet Owens of Milton, MA; Richard Owens and wife Amie of Foxboro, MA; and Kevin Owens and wife Kris of Shelburne, VT. Devoted sister of Margaret White of Hingham and Jupiter FL, and late brothers Frank Flynn and John Flynn. She is survived by 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington Street, Wellesley, MA on Friday, Nov. 20 from 5-8PM. Funeral Mass at Saint Cecilia, 18 Belvidere St., Boston, Saturday, Nov. 21 at 11AM. Interment following at Holyhood Cemetery in Brookline. Dear Owens Family.....my deepest condolences on the passing of your mom. She was a very loving person and I enjoyed seeing her as a kid growing up next to you on Country Drive. I have many fond memories of your mom, dad, and your family. I hope that your fond memories and happy times ease the grief that you're experiencing.
