Patricia A. Sutera, 70, of Stuart, Florida passed away on Wednesday, September 16th, 2015, after a long and courageous battle with lung cancer. She went to be with God from the caring hands of the Treasure Coast Hospice house. She was born in Washington, D.C. to Wallace and Gertrude Pickard, and grew up in New York, moved to Stuart, FL in 1980, but always spent summers on the beach in Fire Island, N.Y., a place she truly loved. She leaves behind a loving husband, Nick Sutera, and son, Nick Sutera Jr. She was a caring and dedicated wife and the most wonderful mother and best friend anyone could ever have. She was always there to talk, to listen, to love, to encourage, to care, and to give everything she could for us. It was her greatest pleasure to help her husband run his construction business for many years, to guide and watch her son grow up to be a young man and physician caring for others, and to tend to her many beloved animals through the years. We will miss her more then words can possibly ever say, but I know she will always be with us in our hearts and souls, guiding and watching over us, until we see her again.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Martin Funeral Home & Crematory, Stuart, FL.
