Robert Caldarone Obituary


ROBERT P. CALDARONE Vero Beach Robert Paul Caldarone, 71, died early in the morning of Sunday, December 4, 2011 at VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach. He had recently moved to Vero Beach from Scottsdale, Arizona. Bob was born on January 5, 1940 in Middletown, Connecticut to his parents, Eugene and Frances Albiani Caldarone. His family moved to Medford, Massachusetts where he graduated at the top of his class and, on scholarship, graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1961. He started his professional career with Westinghouse Corp., and then, with Planning Research, he spent time in Vietnam. Bob later became a marketing manager for Ryder Systems based in Miami, Florida and then a Director of Marketing for Cruise America, Inc of Mesa, Arizona. Devoted to his family, Bob is survived by his two brothers, Eugene P. Caldarone (Helen) and Anthony J. Caldarone (Joyce) of Vero Beach, and by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, grandnieces and grandnephews. A private Memorial Service and Burial for family and friends will be held at 11 AM on December 26th at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the VNA, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, Florida, 32960. Paid Obituary
