Robert Peck Obituary
Stuart, FL
Robert James Peck, 90, a lifelong resident of Stuart, passed away March 7, 2016 at Treasure Coast Hospice.
Bob served in the United States Army during World War II, he was a 65 plus year member of American Legion Post 62, Stuart.
During his career as a finish carpenter he worked for several contractors in Stuart. Bob was an active member of Abundant Life Ministries of Stuart. He was also a Boy Scout Master of Troop 400 for many years.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 66 ½ years, Rita Taube Peck; loving children, Mary Hudson (Travis), Robert Peck (Linda) and Kevin Peck (Lillian); ten cherished grandchildren; 14 grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and sister, Roberta LaRue.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 12:30 pm, Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home with a service at 12:30 PM, Pastor Jonathan McClain, officiating. A Reception will follow the service at the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home. A Committal Service with military honors will be held at 2:30 PM at Fernhill Memorial Gardens in Stuart.
Memorial contributions in Bob's name may be made to Abundant Life Ministries Building Fund, P. O. Box 1349, Stuart, FL 34995 or Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
