Bill Sr, Christy, Wendy, Bill Jr, Kelechi, Chiaka, Henry and the entire family,
We send you our deepest sympathies and love at this very sad time. Sandy is now safe and with loved members of your family. She will be looking down and keeping you all safe from now on.
I met Bill Jr. in 1992 at a house party in Staffordshire and attended his graduation from LBS in 1993, with all the family in London. My niece Georgina looked after Kelechi & Chiaka as a nanny, and we holidayed with Wendy and Jack in France. We know how close you all are and will continue to be a great support to each other at this time.
May God give you strength and courage to get through the coming weeks and months. Memories are warming and wonderful, and we should all celebrate Sandys long and fulfilled life and for giving us such wonderful offspring.
With all our love and prayers,
Helen & Graham Cox (UK)

Sending much love and support to the family from the UK. We have been friends of Bill Jnr for many years (LBS onwards) and have heard so much about Sandy and the family there in the US. Your kind hospitality allowed us to spend a very happy family vacation in New Hampshire in your lovely apartment. We are so very sorry for your loss - and send our condolences to you all.

Before her illness, Sandy was a friend and tennis partner in tournaments for the Riomar Bay Tennis Club. I admired her competitiveness on the court and her warmth and generosity as a friend off the court. Thank you for that wonderful obituary which so describes Sandy.

We were so very sorry to hear of the passing of my wonderful friend Bills mother Sandy. I have lovely memories of dinner with her, Bill Snr and Bill Jnr in London and heard regularly about her from Bill. My overwhelming impression was of her kindness, compassion and understanding, coupled with a zest for life and laughter. She had a wonderful, kind smile. I hope it is of some comfort in these difficult times that she was cared for at home with unstinting devotion and is remembered with so much love and affection by her family and friends. I would have liked to thank her in person for producing such an amazing son and friend to our family but we have whispered our thanks to the angels who cherish her and asked them to especially look after you all. Love Julia and the Woolf Family.

For some moments in life there are no words especially given the current travel restrictions. It must be a really tough time for all of you and I am at a loss for words to comfort you and your family. It seems as if the entire world morns with you for the misery of being away from our friends and loved ones. I always treasure your friendship and excited to get any correspondence in any form. Bill I am standing by and available when ever you are ready to make contact. My deepest condolences to you and you family.

Lots of happy memories of Sandy, my dear friend Bill's mom and fellow Osterville resident who also was my sister's manager at Talbot's. Such a kind and warm woman. With deepest sympathy and love from Jane Powers

Sandy was a sweet, genuine woman with lots of energy, an abundance of kindness, and enduring strength. She was a wonderful big sister to my husband, a generous aunt to our daughter, and a thoughtful sister-in-law to me throughout the years. She will be in our hearts forever.
