caught my first fish Outback it was a red snapper, I was around four years old. used to go there all the time with my dad because he did Steve's Refrigeration and I would always remember them both arguing over the price ( funny) when we moved up here to North Carolina Steve followed dad and bought property up here in Murphy, but I think the flooding of his house a couple of times made him sell his place and head back to Florida. my father Chuck O'Donovan passed away October 4th 2009, and mom left us October 8th 2012. losing everybody makes me feel very alone.. I always like going over to Charlie's Seafood. Ryan Patrick O'Donovan

Some of my favorite memories as a child, as well as in my adult life are going to " Uncle Charlie,s and Aunt Electa's house. Steve was always working but had time for us. He and Ray would always load us down when it was time to leave with the best of their fish. Childhood memories-boxes of mango's piled high out back of tackle shop. That coke machine inside- that really was a treat-five cent cokes,as many as you wanted . Fishing off the pier out back or the bridge. Eating from the resturant next door. It was always like a big festive celebration! so many more memories. When they came to visit us it was always special.
So very sorry to hear of Steve passing. have thought of the family so much over the years. Could not find the Funeral Home to send condolence. just found today. Please know all are in our prayers.
