Lynda,Scott,Hank,Mark, Jonathon,Jacob and Fiona,
We are truely sorry for your tragic loss. We knew Tim a short five years, not long enough. Tim was the kindest man we ever met. He was a man of great compassion, wisdom, integrity, and so full of love. We miss him a great deal. Unfortunatly Tim lived too short a life, he had so much more to give. We know he and his family wish he were with you for a much longer time to enjoy many more years with you and his his grandchildren.Tim deserved that. We pray the memories you have of Tim will give you great comfort.
Please accept our deepest sympathy.

Tim was a huge role model for me growing up. Where our dad had quite a generation gap, Tim filled that void for me. I developed my carpentry skills at the ealy age of 15 while helping Tim build his first home(first from scratch that is)on Beetle lake. And I'll never look at a bowl of black olives without thinking Tim is over my shoulder ready to beat me out of the last one. Thank you to all of you who knew my brother and loved him like we all do. I miss him.
There is still so much we should have been able to do together.
I'll see you again big brother, I love you.

Dear Lynda, Pat, Julie and family,

I just learned of Tim's passing over the weekend when visiting my Father (John P. Drum III and his wife) in Marshall, MI.

Tim and I grew up together, our parents were friends, and we attended elementary school together (Mingus Brook), junior high school and high school. As was Tim, I was also in the Navy from 1966-1970.

I'm deeply saddened to hear that you've lost Tim, and I share your grief.

My Mother (Vivian Craig / Lake Tahoe, California) still keeps in occasional touch with Pat (I believe). I have not yet called my Mother with this news, but she will be saddened and more. Pat ... on her behalf please accept this note as one from us together. She also lost a son (my Brother David Craig). If you care to reach her, her number is (530) 525-5330.

The picture you chose to share with us is such a great one: It captures a smile I remember, and reflects a heart of gold. I will always fondly remember him.

His Father "Danny Miller" (as I remember hearing him referred to when I was very young) was one of my Father's very best friends after the war. The last time I saw Danny was in California (in the 1960's) when I was in the Navy.

My very best to each of you. Thank you very much for accepting this note of condolence, and to let you know that an old friend of Tim’s will always remember him (along with you). "

Sincerely / With Love

Terry Drum, and
Vivian Craig

I've known Tim for many years and the thing I remember most is his sense of humor. He was caring and compassionate. We gave each other rides to and from work at Pratt many times. We agreed and disagreed on many issues, but we always respected each others right to disagree. Tim will be missed.

As my right hand man in Troop 840 he and his family quickly became a part of of our family. Spending time together in and out of Scouting. Tim became a close true friend sharing in the development of young men in our area. This will create a void in my life and I will miss him deeply.

We are saddened beyond measure at losing a life long friend. Our hearts and prayers are with your family. We will never forget the fun times our families shared. May God comfort you.
