Timothy Wayne Thompson, 63, died suddenly at his home of natural causes in Rincon, GA on August 30, 2017.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Brenda (Gore) Thompson, his son Shayne Thompson and his daughter Kathleen Stanton both of Vero Beach, FL, step children Robert Crenshaw, Jr. of Ft. Myers, FL and Pamela Crenshaw of Savannah, GA, and 9 grandchildren.
Tim was raised in Vero Beach, FL and moved to Savannah, GA in 1994. He recently celebrated 20 years of service at Gulfstream.
A celebration of life service is being held, 4PM, Saturday, September 16th at Faith Baptist, 7966 20th St.

I've had the honor of working with T.T. since he first arrived at Gulfstream over 20 years ago...His humor and easy-going nature were always a welcome contrast to the normally frenetic pace of the aviation business. We wish peace for his family in dealing with this loss. We will miss him greatly...

I was truly sad to hear prof T.T.'s passing I have talked to him on many,many occasions overly the last 10 plus years. I am glad I got to receive as much advice from him as I could and even more so just to see him smile from time to time! T. T. you will be missed.
