June 17, 1957 - Dec. 10, 2022
Edythe "Kayo" Cedar passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on December 10, 2022 at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle.
She married her high school sweetheart, Rodney, on July 23, 1977 at Oak Point Community Church. Kayo had a big heart and loved everyone around her. She loved to garden and can her bounty. She gave away most of what she canned. She also loved to cook and everyone raved about her culinary skills.
She is survived by her husband, Rodney, her three children, Eric (Sarah), Raie, and Becky (Ben), her grandchildren, Lexi, Moss, Joey, Jazzmine, Tamara, and Emilyn, and three great-grandchildren, Lane, Maverick, and Amelia.
She will be missed greatly by her family and friends. There will be a celebration of life at a later date. Until we meet again...

It's been many many years since I have talked to Edythe, but I will never forget her most valuable trait, smile and love everyone! Her and her family took me in so many years ago when I had no place to go! I will never forget their loving ways. Edythe, Rusty and I spent many hours upstairs laughing and talking so much. Sounds like she remained the same as I knew her way back when! I am sure she touched many who came in contact with her. She was one of a kind for sure! Prayers to the whole family!

I am saddened to hear of Edith's passing. She was a sweet fun loving person. Our hearts go out to her family. They were always part of the family at our gatherings

I´ve known Edythe most of my life, she is truly one of a kind. She was kind, thoughtful, hysterically funny at times, and everyone who knew her will tell you she got loud when she was around her sisters! She and Rusti thought of themselves as "Irish twins", less than a year apart, that beautiful red hair, loud and lively! What a pair!! We love her deeply and will miss that big smile. We extend our deepest sympathies to Rod, Eric, Raie, and families! With much love, Keith & Rusti
