Ingrid Jacobsen Obituary
She was born June 8, 1943, in Eugene. She graduated from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, Calif., in 1987, earning a bachelor's degree in liberal studies. She and her husband, Robert K. Jacobsen, moved to Rainier in 1989.
Ingrid was an active member of the community. She worked in Rainier as a reserve Emergency Medical Technician and as an instructional assistant at the grade school. She was also active with the Kiwanis Club. Ingrid enjoyed quilting, gardening, singing in the church choir, playing in the bell choir and building homes with Habitat for Humanity.
She is survived by her husband; two sisters, Amanda Ezell and Bridget Shycoff; a daughter, Kristen Noble; two sons, Erik and Karl Jacobsen; and two grandchildren, Bobby and Scott Noble.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church led by Pastor Galen Gallimore.

To a talented mom,
To all who knew her, she was a very "take charge" person. Many things were finished because of her perseverance. I will miss her tremendously, as we were just getting to know each other on a deeper level. Love you mom.

We were saddened to hear of Ingrid's passing yet find comfort in knowing she placed her hope in Jesus Christ. While we worked together on the Thrivent/Habitat house it was obviouse that she was a hard worker who loved what she was doing. God bless the memories you have of Ingrid.

Ingrid, you will so be missed! I wish I could be there for the service. Ingrid was the best ding-a-ling around. I looked up to her when it came to bell playing. Please accept my prayers and sympathy. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
