Mindy is survived at home by her parents Donald and Michelle of Woodland, Wash., brothers - Jonathan (Katie) with Tyler, Jaylen, and Tanner of Battle Ground, Wash., Kurt, Wade, Arne and Travis all of Woodland, Wash. Her maternal grandparents John and Lillian Sarkinen of Waverly, Minn., and so many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Mindy was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Wilfred and Doris Sarkkinen and her tiny infant sisters.
In spite of her many medical trials, Mindy brought joy and happiness to those around her. She had the most loving and forgiving heart. The simple pleasures in life brought her joy. She graduated from Woodland High School in June 2019. She loved babies, going to church and weddings, singing hymns and patriotic songs, all birthdays and holidays, and visiting family and friends. We love you, our sweet Mindy!
We would like to thank all the staff of Woodland High School and Doernbecher Children's Hospital for the love and care they have shown Mindy and our family.
