My first memories of Bob were when he drove us to hikes in the ole Suburban; he always had a hat stashed to loan for the sun if you forgot yours, or a pair of mittens. But, I think one of his most memorable traits for me, was that all our hikes were easy, five mile hikes even though they might be eight miles of continuous uphill and take all day. He assured us that people might not come if they knew the "real" hike!
In his later years, he learned the internet and sent a lot on interesting things and I admired his willingness to be in the forefront of technology.
Erma was a perfect partner for him, and a warm and generous soul who will also be greatly missed by those who knew her. There are so many good memories of these two individuals that I cannot count them all: their passing leaves a hole in my universe--they will be missed.

What a full and wonderful life! I didn't know he did all those things during his life. He is a real inspiration and I feek lucky to have known him. I always had a soft spot in my heart for him.

Bob and Irma were a wonderful couple and always had a good word to say about everyone. We had many good camping trips with the RV club with them. Bob's humor will be missed by all and we know his spirit lives on as one of the Sons of Norway.

I have fond memories of my all-too-infrequent visits to see Uncle Bob and Aunt Erma. Bob was always one who was ready to go at the drop of a hat (or a suggestion.) I always looked forward to his daily e-mails, which kept us "back-Easters" up to date on his and the families' actvities. I will miss Bob greatly.

I will miss coming over to Bob's house every year and buying my Lutefisk tickets, sharing a few moments of chatting time. Bob was born in North Dakota around the time my Dad was (early 1920's). There will never, ever be a generation like his...it was the greatest.
Bob was always so welcoming too. I felt very much at home in his presence.
Thank-you Bob for everything and I will miss you.
Now where do I go for my lutefisk tickets?

My thoughts and prayers are with you Nancy and Mark at this time. Your mom and dad both were great neighbors always up on the old Kelso hill.
