Adrianna Colon, 31

Worcester - Adrianna Colon, 31, affectionately known as Addy, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 in Worcester, MA. Her life was tragically taken from injuries sustained in a car accident while riding her motorcycle.

Addy was born in Worcester, MA on November 13, 1986. A graduate of Worcester Vocational High School, she worked at UMass Memorial Group as a lab technician. Addy was studying to pursue a career in nursing at Quinsigamond Community College. She was dedicated and motivated to consistently make her life better for her son and herself.

Addy had many passions, but she passed doing what she loved best: Riding her motorcycle. She was free-spirited and loved the beach and traveling, especially to the island of her roots, Puerto Rico. She had affection for cats, horses and horseback riding. She was obsessed over Batman, hence her tag name: Batgirl.

Addy was passionate about her family. She is survived by her son, Victor Rivera III, her mother, Millie Olivencia and her father, Angel M. Colon. Addy is also survived by 3 sisters; Nilsa M. Colon, Lenia Colon-Lucas, and Alejandra Colon. She is preceded in death by her brother, also killed in a motorcycle accident in the mid 80's, Andre Colon, and is survived by 10 brothers; Angel L. Colon, Vicente Colon, Miguel Colon, Wayne Tribandis, Moses Rodriguez, Daniel Hernandez Jr., Javier Colon, Antonio Colon, Alejandro Colon, and Armando Colon. Her paternal grandmother, Perfecta Padilla Colon also survives Addy. She leaves behind her uncle Rubin Olivencia and her aunts Glorivee Olivencia and Lydia Oliviencia along with an extensively large family of other uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Family, friends, and others whose lives Addy touched are invited to MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester from 4:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 5, 2018. Addy's's funeral service will be celebrated following calling hours at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial in will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests contributions in memory of Addy Colon, to be sent electronically to gofundme.com/addy-colons-farewell until Wednesday, June 6, 2018.
