Albert Bruso Obituary

Albert R. Bruso, 59, died Monday, July 28th in his home, after an illness.

He leaves his wife, Doreen (Laythe) Bruso; a son, Albert R. Bruso Jr. and his wife Robin Bruso of Putnam, CT; his grandchildren, Albert R. Bruso III, Ethan Bruso and Emily Majeau; a brother, James F. Bruso and his wife, Jeannette of Millbury; a sister, Christine Sotek of Douglas; nephews and nieces. He was born in Milford son of Helen Bruso and he attended schools in Grafton and Millbury.

Albert was a Marine Corp veteran for 17 years. He served two tours of duty in Vietnam where he received numerous medals. He worked many years at Steelcraft in Millbury and was an artist and wood carver. He loved to spend time with his family and was an avid outdoorsman, where he loved to hunt and fish.

His calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 31st in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 1st in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Rt. 122, in Whitinsville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation of Mass. 181 Park Avenue, Suite 12 West Springfield, MA 01089. Condolence book and directions available at:

Doreen, I'm so sorry for your loss, Al was such a special guy. I'll miss his big smile and how are you hon? Just remember he's not sick anymore he safe and happy fishing in heaven watching over all of his loved ones.
