Andrea Laska Obituary
WORCESTER - Andrea A. Laska, 82, of Worcester passed away Wednesday, March 25 in the Golden Living Center.
His wife, Meri (Furxhi) Laska predeceased him. He leaves a son, Gjergji and his wife, Majlinda Laska; a grand-daughter, Meriola Laska; a grandson, Andre Laska and a great-grandson, Joseph Laska-Diaz all with whom he lived; a daughter, Vasilika and her husband, Nesti Zhurka and their children, Kostika and Vangjush Zhurka all of Las Vegas, NV; his oldest son, Mihallaq and his wife, Dashmira Laska and their children, Endri, Olgeri and Bianka Laska also all of Las Vegas, NV and family in Albania.
He was born in Korca, Albania, son of Andrea and Kleoniqi Laska and was a carpenter there for Midhi Kostani, before coming to the United States in 1996. He was a member of Saint Mary's Assumption Albanian Church.
The Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 28 at 1:00pm in Saint Mary's Assumption Albanian Church, 535 Salisbury Street. Burial will be next week in Korca, Albania. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the church. Arrangements are in the care of CALLAHAN, FAY AND CASWELL Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street.
