Andrew Waszkiewicz Obituary
Millbury - Andrew P. Waszkiewicz, 44, passed away unexpectedly. Andy had strong religious beliefs and he is now at peace.
Andy is survived by his mother Marie (Miller) Waszkiewicz of Millbury; his father Paul Waszkiewicz and his wife Tracy of Crescent City, Florida; his brother James Waszkiewicz and his wife Tara of Millbury; a niece, Stephanie Chartier and two nephews, Christopher Chartier, Jr. and James Green; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Andy was a lifelong resident of Millbury. He enjoyed hiking and did several treks of the Appalachian Trail. He had his Pilot's License as well as Electrical, Construction, Oil Burner Technician and Home Inspector Licenses. He owned and operated Waski Construction for many years. Able to retire at a young age, he spent countless hours painting and building guitars out of nothing and everything, a few of his very many talents. He was also an accomplished New England Hillclimber.
Andy's calling hours will be held on Thursday June 9th from 5 to 7 p.m. at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main Street in Millbury. Burial will be private. To view Andy's online Tribute and Guestbook please visit:

My Condolences:
I was so upset to hear about Andy. I haven't heard his name since 8th grade. But immediatley I remembered his smile, his gentle kindness and his ability to be friends with all. I could also see him in my mind. Forever wearing his Navy Blue sweat shirt and gold chain around his neck to school each day and above it, his sweet boyish smile.
May your memories of Andy support you through these troubling times. Reading about him, he sounds like he was an amazing man as well. God bless you Andy and all who loved him. Be assured, He will forever be smiling down on you with Jesus by his side.

There are no words to describe how deeply saddened I am by the news of Andy's passing. He was the kindest, gentlest and most talented person I know. I will always have fond memories of the time we spent together esp. the hot air balloon ride we went on that landed in a tree. You will be forever missed. Rest in peace.

Such incredibly sad news and so unbelievable.

Andy was a kind, talented and thoughtful man. We were once neighbors and he quickly made a positive impression on me. He was a very skilled carpenter and all-around knowledgeable guy. He helped me many times when I was in a pinch. I remember calling him once very early in the morning for help with a plumbing crisis and he came over without hesitation to lend a hand. This was the kind of guy he was. This is a big loss. My thoughts go out to his family. Rest in peace, Andy.
