Angelo C. Falzone

Angelo C. Falzone, 87, died on Tuesday, November 13, 2007 in Milford Regional Medical Center after being stricken ill. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of nearly forty years, Joanne (Algeri) Falzone, and a daughter Mary Falzone. He is survived by two sons, Raymond J. Falzone of Sutton, and John V. Falzone and his wife Linda of Clinton; a daughter, Linda J. Dedecko of Boylston; a sister, Mary Brescia of Cape Cod; four loving grandchildren, Beth and Thomas Dedecko, and Justin and Angelica Falzone, and several nieces and nephews.

Angelo was born in Sicily to the late Raymond and Maria (Graceffa) Falzone, raised in Waltham, and was a graduate of the Waltham High School Class of 1937.  Upon graduation, he enlisted to serve his country proudly in the United States Army during WWII. Upon his return he began a distinguished career in the restaurant business in Glendora, California where he and family established their first restaurant in 1962. The Falzone's later returned to Sudbury in 1971 and purchased the former Silvester's Restaurant in Bolton from where Angelo proudly managed until his retirement in 2002. He enjoyed golfing and spending winter months in Jensen Beach, Florida.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 16, 2007 from the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St., Clinton. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery, Maynard. Calling hours will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, November 15, 2007 from 4 until 7 PM. Memorial contributions may be made in Angelo's memory to the St. John the Evangelist Church-Restoration Fund, 149 Chestnut St., Clinton, MA 01510.
