Ann Irr Obituary

Ann (Briddon) Irr, 73, died Saturday, July 10, 2010 after a courageous and brief battle with Leukemia in UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.

She leaves her husband of 54 years, Victor C. Irr; three sons: Victor C. Irr Jr. and his wife Linda of Millbury, Frank V. Irr and his wife Susan of Millbury and Brian Irr and his wife Robyn of Worcester; five grandchildren: Jason, Sarah, Elizabeth, Derek and Jacob Irr; sister, Tura D. Dudley of Sutton; nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester and is predeceased by her parents Arthur and Tura D. (Anisimoff) Briddon and a brother, Arthur Briddon III. She graduated from Millbury High School in 1954.

Before working as a bookkeeper at New England High Carbon Wire Co., Ann was a stay at home mom raising her three sons during their early years. She then started her own bookkeeping service for area businesses. Ann enjoyed traveling around the country in her motor home. Her greatest enjoyment was watching her grandchildren being raised and going to their school activities, band competitions, hockey games and dance recitals. She was a member and treasurer of the Millbury Federated Church. As she would say "it's too".

A private graveside service will be held in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. There are no calling hours. Mulhane Home for Funerals in Millbury is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolence book and directions are available at:
