Anna Stapleton Obituary

Anna F. (Cousin) Stapleton, 63, of Worcester died on Monday, July 15 in Saint Vincent Hospital after an illness.

Her husband Joseph Stapleton Jr. died in 2005. She is survived by a son, Joseph Stapleton III and his wife Gail of Worcester; two daughters, Joan M. Stairs of Worcester and Jane F. Kobel and her husband Brian of Spencer; a son-in-law, Brad Stairs of Millbury; a sister, Jean Oslowski of Worcester; 6 grandchildren, Jessica, Aaron Taryn, Jillian, Jason and Joseph IV; 2 great-grandchildren, Marcus and Storm; and many nephews and nieces. Mrs. Stapleton was born in Worcester daughter of Ernest R. and Veronica A. (Kane) Cousin and is predeceased by a brother Roland Cousin and a sister Dorothy Juskowiak.

Mrs. Stapleton was a member of St. Peter's Church and worked as a cafeteria worker for Bon Apetite at Clark University.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, July 19 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond St. with a Mass at 10 AM in St. Peter's Church, 931 Main St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are from 5 to 8 PM on Wednesday, July 18 in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.

Anna, you will be sorely missed. Once again we wish to thank you for giving us Nikki the smoyed huskey back in the early 90's. Nikki gave us many years of happiness before he passed in 2005. We have hundreds of pictures - each time we look at him, we remember you! You are the BEST!
