Sorry sorry to hear about the passing of Dr. DiStefano.

I have so many fond memories from the many hours of my youth spent at the DiStefano house. Playing whiffle ball with the Doc in the street, playing "off the wall" against the driveway chimney, football in the backyard, hot summer days in the pool. I remember the time a 4th of July firecracker exploded in Dt. D's hand. Imagine that happening to a surgeon! He was OK, by the way.

Dr. DiStefano was skilled physician, but to the neighborhood kids who were always welcomed in his house, he was "Doc."
