Audrey Dill Obituary

Audrey B. (Parker) Dill, 85, of Holden and formerly Quincy, died Sunday, October 30, 2011 in the Holden Nursing Home.

Her husband of 52 years, Robert C. Dill, died in 2005. Her daughter Evangeline Michelle Dill, died last year.

Audrey leaves two sons, Rodney C. Dill of Stoughton and Jeffery L. Dill and his wife Tracy of Worcester, a sister, Amelia Trivett of Simcoe, Ontario and four grandchildren, Sebastian, Ryan, Justin and Christina Dill.

Audrey was raised in Hughesville, PA. She was the daughter of Amelia Fay Parker. She attended the Cleveland Bible College, now Malone University, and Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, where she met her husband. She moved to the Worcester area in 2005.

She was a sales clerk at Lerner's in Quincy, a women's clothing shop.

She worked at the polls in Quincy every election for over 40 years. She also volunteered at the Thomas Crane Public Library in Quincy for more than 25 years. She enjoyed painting, music and stimulating conversation.

Calling hours are Saturday, November 5 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester. Funeral services and burial in Bay Path Cemetery, Charlton, will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Arthritis Foundation, P.O. Box 96280 Washington, DC 20077-7491 or On-Line at Arthritis.org.
