I only knew Wayland for four years from work and met Elaine at a motorcycle ride. They are good people.
I'm going to miss his stories and advice. Calling me newbie, green, and youngin, and me calling him old man. He had over 20 years on the job so I listened and learned from everything he told and showed me. Thank you Wayland. My sympathy to his family.
