Barbara Jean Willette

Barbara Jean (Flooks) Willette, 63, a former long-time Upton resident, died Thursday, May 6, 2010, in Westborough Healthcare Center in Westborough after a long illness.

Ms. Willette was born in Milford, a daughter of the late Robert E. and Irene M. (Partridge) Flooks. She grew up in Upton and lived in Grafton before moving to Westborough eight years ago. She was a factory worker at Bullard Abrasives for over 30 years until retiring due to illness. She loved to dance and will be remembered for her sense of humor and unique personality.

She leaves one daughter, Lisa Gauvin of Sutton; three sons: Robert J. Willette of Whitinsville, Richard E. Willette of MA, and Heath J. Willette of Millville; a brother, James Flooks of Auburn; one sister, Linda Cofske of Upton; and seven grandchildren: Richard Willette of Spencer, Renae and Andrew Gauvin of Sutton, Angela Fenderson and Shana Willette of Whitinsville, and Heath and Hunter Willette of Millville. She was also the sister of the late Roger Partridge, Judith Cooper, and Marlene Yanski.

Calling hours at the Williams-Pedersen Funeral Home, 45 Main Street, Upton are Monday, May 10, from 7 to 9 p.m. Following cremation, a graveside service will be held in Lakeview Cemetery in Upton at the convenience of the family.
