Casey O'Malley Obituary

Casey Ann O'Malley, 35

Clinton - Casey Ann O'Malley, 35, conquered life! She was the favorite child of James Patrick & the late Christine "Honey" (Vattes) O'Malley; younger but much wiser sister to Patrick J. O'Malley & his better half Andrea Weihn; and Nicholas J. O'Malley & wife Jillian; all of Clinton. She was adored by her nephews, Aidan, Griffin, and Ronan O'Malley; idolized by her aunts and uncles, Mark & Sharon O'Malley of Methuen; Stephen & Diane O'Malley of Leominster; John Vattes of Clinton; Rachel "Cookie" & James Caiazzi of Orleans; cherished by her godson Jameson Vattes and her cousin and best friend Christine Lupien. Casey leaves an abundance of those she loved, cousins and extended family, colleagues, and friends, whose unwavering devotion, encouragement, love, and support was as inspirational to her as she was to them.

Casey Ann O'Malley was born March 30, 1982 in Worcester, Massachusetts. She attended Clinton schools and was active in youth dance and gymnastics. Casey graduated from the Clinton High School, Class of 2000, where she was a member of the Varsity Field Hockey Team, and played clarinet as a member of the CHS Band. She achieved her bachelors degree in Communications from Worcester State College in 2004, and her masters degree in Global Communications and Media Studies from New York University in 2006. Casey served an internship with the NBC Group in New York City and enjoyed an exciting career with the company for the past 11 years, ultimately rising to the position of Director of Broadcast Entertainment Research. Her life in New York City was blessed with wonderful friendships, a global palette of fine cuisine and desserts, and enough fitness for mind body and soul. She became a marathon runner, traveled the globe, and enjoyed unmatched experiences always with friends by her side. In accordance with her wishes, family and friends are encouraged to wear purple while attending her calling hours on Saturday, July 29, 2017 from 3 until 6PM in the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton, followed by a Party and Celebration of the Life of Casey Ann O'Malley from 6-10PM at the Turner Hall, 60 Branch St., Clinton. Rest peacefully Casey. I will always remember our days as OL'S together. You were one of the smartest people I ever met, this world was a better place from having you in it. I truly am sorry for your entire family and all your friends.
