Joan;

We are so saddened to hear of Charlie's passing. I will never forget his kindness to me when I was a young musician "learning the ropes" and years later, the many times I was able to depend on his rock-solid musicianship as principal trumpet with the Colonial Band. Charlie was the epitome of the word "gentleman." Everything done with class and everyone treated with kindness.

He will never be forgotten by the many of us who had the distinct pleasure of making music with him.
