Colleen M. (Park) Ledoux, 80

SPENCER - Colleen M. (Park) Ledoux 80, of 29 Main St. died Thursday, December 28th, 2017 at UMass Medical Center in Worcester.

She leaves her husband of 62 years, Adrian Roy Ledoux, her sons Kevin J. Ledoux and his wife Donna (Bourdon) of North Brookfield, Kenneth P. Ledoux and his wife Kathy (Aldrich) of Alexander, AR, her daughter Colleen R. Stearns and her husband Jeffery of Spencer, grandchildren: Kevin R. Ledoux, Nicole Ledoux, Karly Ketterer, Krystal Rose Ledoux, Kristopher Ledoux, Kassie Ledoux, Kyle Stearns, Brett Stearns, Tyler Stearns, and Troy Stearns.

Great grandchildren: Blake Ketterer, Connor Ketterer, Kenzie Ketterer, Anna Brzozowski, Nora June Ledoux, Emmett Dalton, Theodore Ledoux.

She was predeceased by her mother and father, and her step-father Roger D. Comeau.

Colleen was born in Spencer to Raymond Charles and Rita Evelyn (Bousquet) Park, and attended Spencer schools. She graduated from David Prouty High School Class of 1955, and worked on the Class of '55 Reunion committee for many years.

She was a member of St Mary's Parish, later Mary, Queen of the Rosary Parish, in Spencer, and was a Cub Scout den mother for St Mary's Church, sponsored Troop #116 when her sons were young, as well as a former member of the St Mary's Women's Guild. She worked as a teacher's aid at Maple Street School for a short time, however her primary devotion was to her family.

Colleen's funeral will be held Tuesday, January 2 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer, with a Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Calling hours before the Mass are in the Funeral Home from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Friends of the Richard Sugden Library in memory of Colleen Ledoux, 8 Pleasant St., Spencer, 01562.
