In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Corey's memory to his trust fund Corey Raymond Strazdas Tackling Ewing's Sarcoma at GFA Federal Credit Union. There will be a scholarship set up through Dana Farber Cancer Institute for young adult patients going through cancer treatment to have the opportunity to have personal training sessions paid for at a gym of their choice. Corey loved training with Matt and Chris Cali at Fitness Concepts in Gardner. It was where Corey was able to gain strength and confidence back through training which helped him fight for so long. Corey's wishes were to help others battling this disease in the same way he was able to find strength to continue the battle.

what an inspiration Corey is, I do not know him but am truly moved by his story. To all his family and friends, I offer my deepest sympathy, a fine young man has been taken away much too young. I walked the Dana Farber Boston Marathon walk in September to support all the individuals presently fighting their battles, this is a very worthy cause. What a remarkable young man Corey is.
