Daniel L. Prunier, 31

Oxford - Daniel L. Prunier, 31, of Auburn and formerly of Oxford, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 7, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 7 years, Tanya M. (Marcelonis) Prunier; his parents, Kenneth J. and Wendy A. (Messier) Prunier of North Oxford; two brothers, Matthew C. Prunier of Gorham, ME, and Timothy J. Prunier of Oxford; his paternal grandmother, Anita A. Prunier of Oxford; his maternal grandmother, Bernice V. Messier of Oxford; his father- and mother-in-law, William C. and Lisa J. Marcelonis Jr. of Oxford; three sisters-in-law, Erin E. Goyette, Dara L. Prunier, and Kasey Prunier; one brother-in-law David J. Goyette; five nephews, two nieces, and his beloved dog, Violet. He was born in Worcester, and lived most of his life in Oxford before moving to Auburn in 2016. He graduated from St. Peter Marian High School in Worcester in 2005 and later received his associate's degree in criminal justice from Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester.

Dan was a best friend, loyal son, loving brother, and most importantly a dedicated husband. He was devoted his life to Tanya; the two always on adventures to wine tastings, traveling to new places, and weekly dates to Oxford's Casual Dining. He was a family man who would put everything on hold to take care of others. Dan was a humble, selfless, hardworking man. You could find Dan in the kitchen cooking, puttering around the house fixing odds and ends, or playing poker with the guys. His smile would light up any room he was in. His memory will live on through stories shared about his beautiful life.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 12, 2018, at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Burial will be private at a later date. Calling hours are Sunday, March 11, 2018, from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, Dan's family requests that you do a random act of kindness.
