Darrell Decker Obituary
He leaves his mother, Celine T. Dupre of Worcester, his father, Darrell L. Decker of Cape Cod, his two sisters, Celine Dupre II of Framingham and Heavenly Cikota of Worcester, his paternal grandmother, Lorraine Grealy of W. Harwich, his Godparents, Aunt Darlene Jacobson of Worcester and Uncle Sean Grealy of Cape Cod, his very special friend of many years, Sarah Gribauskas, and a large family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Darrell was predeceased by his Maternal grandmother, Irene Bugan and his Paternal grandfather Donald Grealy.
Calling hours are Thursday, May 20, 2010 from 7-9 pm at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, May 21, 2010 at 11 am at St. John's Catholic Church, 44 Temple St., Worcester.
Graham, Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Home, 838 Main St., Worcester, are directing arrangements.

To my greatest Uncle ever,
Your always in my heart. You are the best! I love and miss you so much! I think about you everyday. You are my favorite and fantastic uncle. At school I will make notes for you. Arriana, Sam and kaleigha miss and love you too, Uncle. You make my heart glow so brightly. I am sorry I can't hug you again. I am sorry we can't wrestle anymore, I loved it, I wish we still could. The reason my heart glows is because it will always have a piece of you in it, I will forever be your "Ashlee Bumpkin is a Pumkin", and I secretly loved it when you called me that.I still love you!!

It;s june 4,2010 I just found out that Darrel is nolonger with us. Such a beutiful soul.still in shock.got to see him recentley and our connection was there still as if we was still roomates he will always be the brother i never had and is eraplaceable.

Darrell i still can not believe you are gone. It seems like it was just yesterday when i met you and sarah. And ever since then you have been a loyal and good friend to me. I will never forget the time you literaly gave me the shirt off your back. And i will never forget you or your many acts of kindness twards people no matter what there situation. Its been almost two weeks and I still think I am going to just run into you...I had a dream someone called me and said this was all a bad dream, and then I realized it's not, Even though we barely ever seen eachjother, I knew you where always there...I miss you terribly, and forever will

I love and miss you! you are my heart and soul! Thank you for being my best friend, thank you for being the best big brother and protector I could ever ask for... God blessed our family and gave us the privledge of you being a major part of it. The fight is finally over, you can rest now, as you have been waiting to do. Take care of mom, and the kids. It was wonderful to see how many lives Darrell touched at his services. I'm grateful I had the time with him that I did, and grateful that there are so many good people to share memories with. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone who loved him.

Never stopped thinking about you over the years....glad we ran into each other not too long ago...you were always a TRUE friend to me and I to you!!! We had some great times and some not so great times as well...Our lives went in different directions over the years and I hope you have finally found peace. Darrell, I had not seen you or spoke to you in years...you were my first boyfriend..we were in elementary schoolat O.L.A. The Darrell I remember was a fun and happy kid with a great sense of humor. I hope that you have found peace in heaven. God bless.

words cannot express what I am feeling. We have not been together for some time but you were always in my heart and in my soul. We shared some times that noone could ever take from us and some that i wish they could , LOL....You where my first true love and although you went your way and may have fallen in love, and I did the same, we both knew we where a phone call away. I am glad we got a lot of things ironed out the night I drove you to Spectrum, and then ten minutes later picked you up, but still it gave us time to talk and laugh and recapture some of what we had in the past. The fight is over my love, and you are finally with your gram, I know she will take good care of you, and you her. You will forever be loved and missed.Heaven will never be the same!!!!

Darrell, I love you and miss you so much. You were not only my son but my friend as well. You were always caring and loving and had a heart of gold. You are happy now, all I ever wanted for you was for you to be happy. You are with the angels and i am sure you are making them laugh with your great sense of humor. I am sure one day I'll look out the window and see you zipping across the galaxies, that was one of your interests. You will always be the no. 1 man in my life. You made it to the other side and I know alot of people were there to greet you. I also heard you ran through the tunnel to the other side with no hesitation. I'm happy your there now but sad you left. It's where you need to be. Until we meet again you will always hold a special place in my heart for you are my heart. I love you sweetheart! Mom
