David Coutts Obituary
Douglas - David M. Coutts, 59, of Depot St. formerly of Maine died peacefully on Fri. Dec. 21, 2018.
He is survived by his best friend and wife of (almost) just shy of 16 years Barbara E. (Murray) Coutts; his 3 children Mackenzie Ireland and Cameron Coutts both of Bangor, ME, and Jonathan Coutts of Brewer, ME; his step-daughter Megan Saunders of Douglas; 4 grandchildren; a brother Stephen Coutts of Holden, ME; nephews, nieces and many good friends.
Born in Waterville, ME on Jan 14, 1959 he was son of the late Carlyle and Joyce (Cameron) Coutts and grew up in Bangor. He was a graduate of Kings Edgehill School in Windsor, Nova Scotia and earned his degree in Political Science from the University of Maine in Orono. David worked as a consultant in the health care industry. He had a magnetic personality that drew people to him. He was instantly likable and lovable. Through his illness he had the love and support of the community and beyond and never gave up hope.
