Dennis Lucier Obituary
Worcester - Dennis J. Lucier, 53, of Worcester, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2017, at Saint Francis Home.
Dennis is survived by his children, Elizabeth Verone and her husband Alan of Pennsylvania, Leah Langlois and her husband Timothy of Warren, and Mindy Parrish and her husband Jeremy of Florida; his mother, Nancy (Burbo) Burke of Worcester; a brother, David P. Lucier and his wife Robyn of North Brookfield; three sisters, Cheryl A. Burke and her husband David of Worcester, April J. Lucier and her companion Benjamin Boi of Marlborough, and Rachel B. Fleck and her husband Barry of Webster; nine grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. Dennis was predeceased by his father, Donald F. Lucier, Sr., by his brother, Donald F. Lucier, Jr. and by his step-father, Norman E. "Blackie" Burke. Dennis was born in Worcester and has lived here all his life. He enjoyed working as a handyman doing a variety of odd jobs.
The Lucier Family would like to extend a heart-felt thank you to the wonderful people at Saint Francis Home and Notre Dame Hospice; their compassionate care for Dennis and his family is appreciated and helped make his final days peaceful.
Calling Hours for Dennis will be held on Monday, October 30, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. His Funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 31, departing the funeral home in procession at 9:40 a.m., for a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass at Saint John's Church, 40 Temple Street, Worcester. Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Saint John's Food for The Poor, 44 Temple Street, Worcester, MA 01604.

Dennis was a friend of mine and my wife Jessica since she was 17 and worked at Dunkin at the original citgo. He worked for s for years and was hard worker and never complained. We all miss him and have our own memories of what made him special to us. My heart pours out to his mother. He lives her so much and always spoke of her and how she Keith the family together. Especially day after thanksgiving shopping lol.

I miss him so much I would ask him to go to the store all the time and or I would ask him to go for a walk and I would always talk to him about everything and I miss him because if I was going through things like at school for example I would talk to him about it -Jasmine ( I love and miss you so much Uncle Dennis)

Dennis was a good friend and a good worker. Driving down Waverly street you always could count on seeing Dennis on the porch. He was always there when you needed him and had a heart of gold. Our family will miss him greatly.
